2025 Saskatoon Seminar

We would like to extend a big thank you to Matthew Raymond sensei and Mami Ito-sensei who instructed at our 36th annual kendo seminar. Raymond-sensei focused on sharpness of the cut and maintaining the connection with the opponent. Ito-sensei backed that up with some combination drills that made everyone work hard to apply the weekend’s lessons. It was quite nice to see many people scoring points in the tournament by following sensei’s advice.

Congratulations to our Saskatoon Kendo Club members who passed their exams. Rauphel Kenept passed ikkyu. Howie Liu, Evelyn Hill, Donovan Lavoie and Yi Qin passed shodan. Paolo De Leon passed nidan.
