Welcome to the Saskatoon Kendo Club

Kids' class canceled March 7

Due to the seminar, the kids' class is canceled this Sunday, March 7.

We encourage kids and their parents to come out to the seminar Saturday afternoon and watch some of the tournament. It's at the main gym in City Park Collegiate on 9th Ave N from 1-6. The higher divisions are later in the afternoon and make for better viewing. Please feel free to come and go as your schedule permits.

2010 Saskatoon Seminar Final Details

Grading registration is now closed, no exceptions. We have 30 candidates this year.

Lester Young is handling the seminar fees this year. Saskatoon members please pay your fees to him if you have not done so already.

Total expected attendance is 80. Note that for the party, we are also expecting 80 which overflows the banquet room at Mano's. We will have a separate seating area for 20 nearby. Please make sure that there is seating for all the sensei in the main room. We will bring everyone together in the main room after supper is finished for the presentations.

Supper is a fixed menu. This is for ease of the staff in dealing with such a large group. We have kept each choice under $20, but drinks, dessert etc are extra. Your choices are:

1. Split Roasted Chicken, $19.
2. Pork Souvlaki, $19.
3. Roasted Vegetable and Feta Cheese Lasagna, $17.

If someone has any dietary restrictions that are not accommodated by these choices, please let me know. Note that #3 is a vegetarian dish.
